二、Overview
Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) host outputs RF carrier signals, which are then fed into the DME antenna simulator. This antenna simulator serves as both a transmitting signal load (replacing the function of the DME transmitting antenna) and a coupled and mixed output RF monitoring signal (replacing the function of the DME monitoring antenna to sample RF signals). Ultimately, this ensures that all monitoring parameters of the DME monitor are in normal working condition, with no early warnings or alarms for DME monitoring parameters.
