二、Overview
The secondary surveillance radar system, referred to as "secondary radar" or "air traffic control radar", is an autonomous air detection system. The ground station transmits an interrogation signal (frequency 1030MHz), and the airborne transponder automatically sends a coded response signal (frequency 1090MHz) after receiving it. By transmitting the interrogation signal and interacting with the airborne transponder, it can obtain the 3D position (polarization coordinate), azimuth, distance, identification code, altitude and other information of the aircraft in the air in real time.

1. The combination of active and passive location can be used independently by a single station, greatly reducing the number and complexity of the system.
2. High positioning accuracy (3D spatial position data), strong real-time performance, and continuous target plot/track output.
