RF signal isolator
Product Introduction: RSI-108A RF Signal Isolator, operating frequency range: 108MHz-112MHz, maximum input power 50W, isolation between input port IN and output port OUT is -20dB.
A RF isolator, also known as a one-way device, is a component that transmits RF signals in a single direction. When the RF signal is transmitted forward, it can transfer all the power from the input port IN to the load connected to the output port OUT, while producing significant attenuation for reflected signals from the load. The RF reflected signals are completely absorbed by the dummy load connected to the isolation port ISO. This one-way transmission characteristic can be used to isolate the effect of load variations on the input signal source.
The performance requirements are: small forward attenuation, large reverse isolation, small voltage standing wave ratio, a certain frequency bandwidth, and additionally, the ability to withstand high power and specified operating temperature should be defined.
Apply device:
RSI-108A isolator, operating frequency 108MHz-112MHz, mainly used in ILS localizer LLZ equipment. RSI-329A isolator, operating frequency 329MHz-335MHz, mainly used in ILS glide path GP equipment. RSI-114A isolator, operating frequency 112MHz-118MHz, mainly used in VOR DVOR equipment.
