Automatic Terminal Information Service System
Product Overview
1、After collecting and processing airport weather forecasts and runway opening conditions information, the system provides a 24-hour broadcast service system for landing conditions to local landing flights through VHF ground to air communication radio.
2、Broadcast content: Real time weather, available runways, air pressure, and altimeter correction values at the landing airport. The flight crew actively learns about relevant information about the landing airport by listening to the VHF broadcast frequency, reducing the voice communication load and work intensity of the tower controller in the VHF communication channel, and avoiding congestion in the VHF radio channel.
3、The broadcast content includes METAR and SPECI messages of weather forecast updated every hour, or AWOS data of automatic weather observation system updated in real time.
